i can’t dance

i can’t dance.

most people have already decided.

i have two left feet. i’m too old for it now. i don’t have the time. i’ll break something if i try. that ship sailed a long time ago. and somewhere, when their favourite song plays, they still secretly wish they could. and they just appreciate others from a safe distance.

and then there is another kind of person entirely. one who has never thought about it. not against it. just — unaware. movement has been so absent for so long that the idea doesn’t even land. it simply hasn’t occurred to them that this could be for them.

both are welcome here.

raga doesn’t ask you to come with experience.

drip doesn’t ask you to look a certain way.

align doesn’t ask you to be pain free.

every class breathes into new spectrums. no fixed syllabus. no fixed mindset. and yet — deep rooted structure. a real practice. you learn how to maneuver your body. you unlock the source of every movement. you decode rhythm and how to create from it. you understand your spine and axis.

the body is equipped to go beyond just going through the day. it was always capable of more. but finding your movement language — that takes practice. that takes exploration. and it takes the right mentor to guide it.

the idea that you can’t dance came from somewhere outside you. maybe a classroom, a comparison, a culture that decided very early what dancing should look like. it became yours without you choosing it.

infinite artiste doesn’t ask you to abandon what you know — or to have anything figured out. it asks you to explore beyond where you are. and it meets you exactly there.

because movement adds something. quietly. slowly. it adds to life.

life, through movement. that is the invitation.
