Infinite Artiste is not just a dance studio. At least not in the way dance studios exist anywhere in the world. It is space intentionally designed for everyone. When I say everyone. I mean literally everyone. If you are a living breathing human being, who feels joy, pain and grief that comes with life, you are the purpose, the very reason, why this place exists. It exists to heal you, serve you and help you express in your language. Not just in movement. You could sing, act, tell stories.
The space celebrates inclusion, trust and nurtures your uniqueness. Ragini, who mentors each student, helps each one merge movement, art and expression with their life. Her vision is to use the classroom time to grow in every area of life. Each class comforts every student, empowers them to take on the challenges of life, and helps them release beliefs that no longer serves them. The mind moves with the body.
Ragini has brought about this revolution over the last few years with residencies that are the best slumber parties I only dreamt off. Friends are made, feelings bared and communities fostered. As every one learns that we have more in common than we realise. Ragini does this delicate but crucial job in these times by encouraging open communication, solidifying a spirit of camaraderie by teaching how to listen and understand, and weaving a grand common vision for artistic expression.
